7 Months

Lucy loves to eat, but hates anything that isn't mashed or pureed. We are trying to work on that. She spits food all over me when she's done eating. I keep telling her that she can just say no or turn her head if she doesn't want anymore. She likes the spitting though. We are working on that too. ;)

Lucy is quick to smile and wants to be held or sat next to while she plays. She drools all over her clothes, still is obsessed with her binky, and is the sweetest girl around.

Right as Lucy hit her 7 month mark we had a rough week. She started refusing to nurse but would scream because she was hungry. She was diagnosed with double ear infections and I was anxious to start her on the antibiotic to get her healthy again. She then came down with what we thought was the flu. She wouldn't nurse so I pumped and fed her a bottle. She would throw it up shortly after. Our pediatrician told us to just syringe feed her a little at a time to make sure she could keep some liquids down. Sometimes she would keep it down, other times she wouldn't. Our little babe was barely having enough wet diapers to keep her out of the hospital. After day 6 of refusing to nurse and throwing up all day, I called the doctor and requested we try a different antibiotic.

As soon as we switched medications Lucy stopped throwing up and that day we noticed a teeny little tooth poking through her gums. She was back to nursing that night.

So with the combination of ear infections, an allergic reaction, and teething I didn't get around to taking some 7 month pictures of the sweet babe. Instead I will photo dump all of the sweet ones we got during this month. Even when she was feeling sick as could be, she was a little light in our home. We are so lucky to have her!

She thinks I'm hilarious.

Her first taste of a lemon. She actually really liked it!

Nana bought this awesome carriage thingy, we decided we should take Lu bear for a walk in it.

How can you fall asleep like that!?

Seriously!?
