Graduation

This past weekend was graduation!

The McKee's came up for all of the festivities too! It was such a fun weekend full of family.

Ready for a picture overload?

 Thursday night dinner at Riverside.

 The whole group!!

I swear I have this EXACT picture, except I'm in a wedding dress.

Couldn't have done it without the support of these two! I am so blessed to have the parents I do.

 HAHA. Close enough.

Thank you BYU, for bringing me to this guy!

BYU was so good to me. But I am so ready to start my new adventure in life!

The Backyard

Our backyard is a serious work in progress. I am a complete beginner when it comes to lawn maintenance, gardening, etc. But Jord and I are determined to get this yard into shape.

It may take awhile. But it will happen. And we will be able to say we did it all by ourselves!

That's scary, huh? Those bush/tree things were just growing in the middle of our yard! Jord was buff and ripped them out.

So there we go. The beginning of the yard journey. And let's be honest, the front has just as much work to do. I'll post pictures as it improves!

It's April

We're just going to pretend like it hasn't been 3 months since I've last blogged.

I've been trying to figure out where I stand as a blogger, and what I don't want my blog to become. I've decided my blog is my journal. It's written for family and friends who care to know what's going on in my life and it's written for me. I want to be able to have a journal that has pictures and stories and love notes and all my silly thoughts. I want it to be a place to look back on fond memories.

Okay, done with my rant.

Last Saturday, Jord and I decided to go on a bike ride. But we did it tandem style. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN.

When we rented the bike the guy at the store told me that I should probably take the back seat. And that I should go outside and practice bailing.

"wait, seriously?"

"yeah. If you guys crash... he's a goner. But you could still make it."

Awesome. I felt super safe. His comment didn't even phase Jordan.

Anyways, we had so much fun. It felt awesome to get some exercise in that was actually fun too. :)

This was the best picture we could get with us on the bike. ;)

We stopped for Subway and ate it at the park.

It was just a fabulous day. :)
