Life as a late

I've come to the conclusion that life will always be crazy. I don't think it's going to calm down anytime soon or in the far future. But I'm perfectly happy with that; because frankly, I don't want life to slow down. I love being busy and always having something to do.

So here is a bullet list of life as of late:

-Jord's work is keeping him busy, busy. These last few months have been really hectic, but he's still making sure I get plenty of time with him. Otherwise, I'll just complain and be a grumpy gills. I'm so proud of him for all the work he's doing. That boy is amazing!

-Jord went to Scout Camp and I went to Lake Powell. We hate being apart. Only things like Scout Camp can force us to be away from each other (with terrible cell phone coverage) for a week. He had a blast though! And so did little baby McKee. ;)

-We got a slightly new (feels ENTIRELY new to me!) kitchen! With lots of leaking and other problems with our sink and faucet they HAD to be replaced. We thought, what the heck, lets just do the counters too! We were washing dishes in the bathtub for over a month. Meaning, the house just got dirty, dirty. Not having a functioning kitchen is more of a nuisance that I ever imagined. We are so happy with our kitchen now!! It's just beautiful. And I think I'm on my longest clean house streak yet. ;)

-The baby's nursery is coming along, slowly. With every inch of that room having to be painted, I've made sure not to throw all of it into one day (I'm trying to avoid large quantities of inhaled paint fumes). But this has been my favorite project on the house yet. And all I've done is painted! P.s. I painted the ceilings the other day only to walk into the bathroom afterwards and see paint splatters all over my contacts! How I could see, let alone blink without feeling them is still a mystery to me. It looked pretty neat though!!

-I cannot wait for this little one to come! Time is starting to really speed up lately. I'm counting my blessings because, so far, I have loved being pregnant. Even though so much of what I eat and do is being effected (and I want to go on a roller coaster more than I ever have) I have loved pregnancy. I'll count myself lucky if I feel this way for the rest of our kids. I sure think baby McKee is something extra special.
