I have always prided myself in being a good student. I have never turned anything late, I'm really good about being to class on time, I study really hard.
Today I failed as a student. It was the last and final day to take one of my tests. I studied all day. Literally, all day. I thought I would just go take it at 1:00, but then convinced myself otherwise because I still had the rest of the day to study. So I studied more.
I showed up at the testing center around 3:50. I always get nervous before walking up the stairs, so I looked at my notes one last time. Just in case I forgot anything. Then I walked up the stairs.
The doors were locked.
WHAT!? Why would the doors be locked? I knocked. I knocked again. Then I looked at the screen above me only to see "Friday Hours: Last test handed out at 4:00, testing center closes at 5:00"
I just cried.
How was I supposed to justify to my teacher that I really didn't know the testing center closed at 5:00? I should have looked. Totally my fault.
It was raining outside, which suited the situation quite well. So I sat down on the stairs outside in the rain and mourned. Kidding. I texted my TA on the stairs and then booked it to my professors office.
My professor wasn't there. So I sent him and email and waited for word back.
Luckily, I have the coolest TA in the world! She texted me back and said I could take it Tuesday after class. I would get full credit, but wouldn't be given the full curve. I'll take that any day!
So now I'm going to go study for my test even more to prove to myself that I really am a good student.
Kidding, again. I'm going to go watch a movie. :)
Happy Friday!

Weekend
This weekend was the best. Jord and I packed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with way too many fun things.
Friday was Ashleigh's birthday! We drove up to see them and played a game of bowling. We had so so much fun.
Gotta love the eyes-closed pictures. He's still a cutie.
Saturday morning we played tennis with my parents! We're hoping that is a tradition in the making.
Saturday night the Gilbert's, Jord, and I had a thanksgiving dinner with one of their missionary buddies and his new wife. They are the cutest.
Don't make fun of Jord and I. I know, it looks like a Junior Prom stance. But I think it's kind of cute.
After dinner the Gilbert's and us got talking. Talkin about future plans. Before you know it we had decided we were going to go camping. Right now.
So we did. And it was such a good decision.
Please notice that in all of these pictures everyone is laughing. We had so much fun! We're going again soon.

The rest of the night was spent talking and playing Mario-Kart. I forgot how much I love that game. I had to steal this picture from Ash's blog. It is just too good.

I don't think we had all laughed that hard in a long time.
Things weren't really even that funny. But they WERE funny. I think it was because of those Arizona drinks. Lots of sugar.

Spring semester
Spring semester really isn't as terrible as everyone makes it out to be. I actually like it better.
First of all, its a month and a half. Easy.
Second, everyone says that you have to fit an entire semesters material into one half a semester and that makes it way hard. That's kind of a lie. Every single one of my teachers have always knocked out assignments, had us take less tests, and usually relax way more on how much material they want to cover in class because they feel like its summer too.
Third, class sizes are way smaller. One of my classes has 7 people in it. Seriously? So my teacher is WAY more chill and basically asks us if we want to learn that material or not. No teacher would ever do that in a large class.
So I'm a happy camper. Yes, there is going to be a lot of work to put in this Spring, but so far I'm loving it.
Plus, Jordie is in my persuasive writing class. When he stood up to tell everyone about himself and "one interesting fact that no one in the class would know" he said, "this beautiful girl right here is my wife!". Everyone "ohhhhed". I blushed. :) Cute boy. Class goes by way faster when that boys sitting next to me.

Christopher's mission call
My little brother, Christopher, received his mission call on Wednesday! His initial call is to serve in the Bangkok, Thailand mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Our family couldn't be more happy! Little brother, you are going to be an amazing missionary.
Here is a short video of the night he opened it up. :)

Cabo
Last week the entire Osborn Clan packed up and took a trip to Cabo. Chelsie and Jordan will be off to Boston in the summer and the rest of us will be left behind. So, my parents had to plan a party. And a party it was.
I don't know if I've ever eaten so good in my life! That... or... swimming just makes you really hungry for some reason and food is always better when your hungry. Either way, the food was incredible.
Jordie and I had never flown together before. I know it sounds silly, but I love just sitting next to HIM on the plane. I didn't have to worry about which sibling I was going to sit next to, and whether or not they were going to let me sleep on them. Jord always lets me sleep on him. So I really liked that.
Our days were full of sun, swimming, the beach, food, games, and family. It couldn't have been a better trip. I've got the best family in the world. :)
So... here are pictures!!
This was the view from mind and Jord's room. Woah. Spoiled.
For some reason Jord woke up at like 5:00 every morning. Crazy early-bird. I woke up with him two of the days and we took a walk on the beach and watched the sun rise. :)
Strategic ways to snatch coconuts.
Caveman husband.
Dancing dad.
Holding the Braven-- always. If you haven't seen or heard of his product, you can check it out here. They are the most incredible speakers!
This was a cactus farm. CRAZY. I didn't even know cactus farms existed!
These ones were fury... so we all petted them. But then my mom really got hurt.
I hate it when we have to take pictures of ourselves. But sometimes, you have no choice.
It all was just pure happiness but was abruptly ended when I had to drive straight from the airpot to the BYU Testing Center to take a functional anatomy test. Blah.
School will be over in a few short weeks!

Stressed
Just when I think that school is calming down from mid-terms and I can relax... I look down at one of my syllabus' to find that I have a test in the morning.
It's 10:45pm... and I have a test tomorrow? Great.
Not to mention that the only words going through my head for the last week have been "eccentric" "concentric" "hypertrophy" "torque" "muscle" "contraction" etc. You get the picture. This group project may be the death of me.
But Jordan did just turn to me and say, "I just look at your face and it makes me so happy."
Good timing, love.

Tradition
"Taco Tuesday". You can buy 3 hard shell tacos for $1.00 at Del Taco on Tuesday's.
So, Jordan decided it needed to become a family tradition.
I easily obliged.
